Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is one of the important cash crops of the tropical and subtropical countries where in 60% of the total sugar comes from sugarcane. The productivity of sugarcane is low in India as compare to other cane growing countries of the world due to several biotic and abiotic factors. Among the biotic factor, about hundred diseases of sugarcane reported from different parts of the world. The maximum yield reduction in sugarcane has been observed due to red rot, smut and rust diseases in India. These diseases of sugarcane have adversely affected the quantitative and qualitative characters of sugarcane. So a field experiment was conducted during spring 2013–14 and 2014–15 to the study the field efficacy of Azoxystrobin 18.2%+Difenoconazole 11.4% w/w SC (Amistar Top 325 SC) against sugarcane diseases. Among the various treatments, Azoxystrobin 18.2%+Difenoconazole 11.4% w/w SC @ 1.25 ml l-1 were found significantly at par with Azoxystrobin 18.2%+Difenoconazole 11.4% w/w SC @ 1.00 ml l-1 in controlling red rot, smut and rust disease of sugarcane. Among the various treatments, Azoxystrobin 18.2%+Difenoconazole 11.4% w/w SC @ 1.00 ml l-1 recorded 6.06 PDI and 5.12 PDI against red rot, 5.28% and 5.00% disease incidence against smut, 6.12 PDI and 5.05 PDI against rust of sugarcane in 2013–14 and 2014–15 respectively. The present investigation showed that Azoxystrobin 18.2%+Difenoconazole 11.4% w/w SC @ 1.00 ml l-1 could be used for management of diseases and increases the cane yield of sugarcane.
